From Porto S. Stefano with the ferry, you can reach within 50-60 minutes, either the Isle of Giglio and the unspoilt and wild Isle of Giannutri or you can join the daily sightseeing trips of the island, or even rent a small boat and take a trip on your own around the promontory.
Within about 30 minutes drive inland you reach Magliano, a typical medieval town surrounded by
walls and perched on the top of a hill, as are both Pitigliano and Sovana, which are further inland,
