What you can visit:

From Porto S. Stefano with the ferry, you can reach within 50-60 minutes, either the Isle of Giglio and the unspoilt and wild Isle of Giannutri or you can join the daily sightseeing trips of the island, or even rent a small boat and take a trip on your own around the promontory.
Within about 30 minutes drive inland you reach Magliano, a typical medieval town surrounded by walls and perched on the top of a hill, as are both Pitigliano and Sovana, which are further inland, famous for their Etruscan origins. 

Nearby the famous Thermal Bath of Satumia, sulphurous healthy waters that spring at 37 degrees, ideal throughout the year.


For those who love excursions we suggest a visit to the Uccellina National Park and the Natural Oasis of 

Orbetello where you can see many species of birds, including the Cavaliere d'ltalia and

 

Driving south, within 20 minutes, you can reach Capalbio, land of boars and hunting tradition and which is also reflected in the cuisine. 

Further south you can find Tarquinia where you can visit the Etruscan tombs.
Everywhere you can enjoy the Tuscan typical and genuine cuisine, fish on the coast and meat inland, a variety that only Maremma can offer.
